Doctors did all they could, but the injuries were too severe — the child suffered burns over more than 30% of his body, Acting Governor of Russia's Kursk Region Alexander Khinshtein said.
"Those who kill children have no right to be called humans. This is not just barbarism: this is a crime against the very essence of humanity! I believe that this evil will not go unpunished!" Khinshtein stated.
