Russia has repeatedly said that arms supplies to Ukraine hinder the conflict settlement and directly involve NATO countries in it.
West considers military supplies to Kiev a "sacred cow" even though they violate international export control rules, and the weapons are used against civilians and for human rights violations, Yulia Zhdanova told Sputnik.
Western nations and Ukraine are "blocking all-European meetings" on curbing illegal arms trade at the OSCE, which once led efforts on such issues, noted Zhdanova, who is head of Russia's delegation at the Vienna arms control talks.
"Earlier, we had a very active dialogue on the issue of preventing illegal arms trafficking, the organization was a pioneer in this area. But now Westerners and Ukrainians block all-European meetings on this issue," she explained.
