Nathalie Yamb Sanctioned by EU: ‘Their Hypocrisy & Contempt Are Systemic’
The pan-African activist will be banned from entering the country and her assets will be frozen, according to the EU's Official Journal.
The official reason: her support for the actions and policies of the Russian government.
For her, it is above all proof of systemic racism and colonialism:
"An African woman who talks about sovereignty? Obviously a puppet. A Black woman who denounces exploitation? Naturally remote-controlled," she quipped on her Telegram channel.
Yamb also pointed to the EU's hypocrisy, as it continues to import Russian gas, fertilizers, and metals.
