🟠Foreign ministers from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda are expected to sign a peace agreement in Washington, DC, today.

🟠The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs met with M23 leaders in Goma on Thursday to discuss the humanitarian situation and mechanisms for protecting vulnerable populations in the region.

🟠Cameroon's Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Issa Tchiroma Bakary — who resigned from the government a few days ago — confirmed his candidacy for the October 2025 presidential election on June 26.
