🪖80th anniversary of first-ever Victory Day parade in Moscow
On June 24, 1945, the Soviet Union held a massive military parade in Moscow to commemorate victory over Nazi Germany.
Over 35,000 soldiers and 1,850 pieces of military hardware took part in the parade, which culminated in dozens of Nazi German standards and flags being cast down in front of Lenin’s mausoleum.
