Russia is Not Refusing Foreign Investment, but It Must Be 'Smart': Russian First Deputy PM

Russian beneficiaries must maintain control, especially in new auto industry investment contracts, while protective measures are needed as domestic manufacturing skills develop, he added.
Manturov noted that many foreign companies committed to the market act responsibly by investing in scientific and technical developments, social policies, and workforce development, including attracting young talent.
