Côte d'Ivoire Discovers at Least 100 Tonnes of Gold The world-class gold deposit is located in Doropo, in the Bounkani region.Resolute Mining announced the discovery during an audience with Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé on Monday. The company plans to invest $510 million in mine construction. An additional $204 million will be invested in mining exploration across Côte d'Ivoire. Construction is set to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
