MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Urgent sanitary transfers of the seriously wounded soldiers from front line between Russia and Ukraine have been established, Medinsky said.
Russia has handed over to Ukraine 6,060 bodies of dead officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky said on Monday.
"A total of 6,060 bodies of dead officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Ukraine have been transferred to the Ukrainian side," Medinsky said on Telegram.
In return, Russia received bodies of 78 dead Russian servicepeople from Ukraine, Medinsky said.
The exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine continues, Medinsky said on Monday.

"The prisoner exchange is also ongoing," Medinsky added.

Russia has fulfilled its promises made in Istanbul, he noted.
Meanwhile, Russian defense ministry said it's ready at this stage to transfer another 2,239 bodies of dead soldiers of armed forces of Ukraine to Kiev.
"At this stage, we are ready to transfer another 2,239 bodies of dead servicepeople of the armed forces of Ukraine to the Ukrainian side," the ministry said.
In accordance with the agreements reached on June 2 in Istanbul, the Russian side on Monday handed over to Ukraine 1,248 bodies of dead servicepeople of the armed forces of Ukraine, returning the bodies of 51 dead Russian servicemen, the Russian Defense Ministry said, adding that the Ukrainian side has transferred the bodies of 78 dead Russian soldiers.
