14:56 14.06.2025 (Updated: 15:25 14.06.2025) TEL AVIV (Sputnik) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) denies reports of an Israeli fighter jet having been shot down over Iran, an IDF spokesperson told Sputnik on Saturday.
"The IDF press service denies reports of a fighter jet having been shot down," the spokesperson said.
Earlier in the day, the IRIB broadcaster reported that Iranian air defense systems had allegedly shot down another Israeli F-35 fighter jet in the western part of the Islamic republic.
