The IAEA resolution prepared by the "E3" gave Israel a pretext to strike Iranian nuclear facilities, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said
"Iran's foreign minister criticized the resolution of the IAEA Board of Governors, which was adopted with the participation of three EU countries and the US, saying it gave an excuse and set the stage for [Israel's] hostile actions against Iran's nuclear facilities," the ministry said in a statement.
During the call, Kallas said that the European Union was prepared to contribute to de-escalating tensions in the Middle East on international platforms in light of the exchange of strikes between Iran and Israel, the ministry said.
