The foreign ministries of Algeria, Tunisia, and Sudan have issued statements rejecting Israel's actions and urging the global community to make immediate efforts to de-escalate the situation in the Middle East.
Here is what the statements said:
Algeria stated the Israeli strikes "would not have occurred without the impunity and lack of accountability" of Tel Aviv.
"Israel is pursuing a policy based on the illusion of ensuring its own security and stability at the expense of that of its neighbors, starting with the Palestinians in all occupied territories, and extending to all neighboring countries without exception."
Tunisia urged "firm intervention" to put an end to Israel's "tyranny and aggressive behavior."
"The brutal aggression against Iran is a new chapter in the series of repeated and ongoing crimes and attacks perpetrated by the Zionist enemy, and further proof of the entity’s stubbornness in its arrogance and aggressive politics."
Sudan described Israel's "unjust aggression" as "a serious threat to international peace and security."
"Sudan calls on the United Nations and the Security Council to take urgent measures to immediately halt these attacks."
