The importance of international collaboration at the International Forum of Ministers of Education in Kazan, Russia, was emphasized by Frederick Shava, Zimbabwe's Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation Science, and Technology Development, in an interview with Sputnik Africa.
"I can speak only in terms of Zimbabwe and we come to forums like this one in order to exchange ideas with other institutions. Like in this particular case, institutions in the Russian Federation who have been much more engaged in developing education for their own development. And from that, we have some takeaways when we look at what they've been able to do in various areas of endeavor," he said.
