Sanctions 'Made Russia Stronger,' Says Russia's Minister of Education

The Western approach “is not working” and the country continues to develop actively, Sergey Kravtsov told Sputnik Africa at the "Shaping the Future" International Education Ministers' Forum in Kazan.

"We should not base our forecasts on the political regime of the United States or other Western countries. Rather, we should rely on developing our own resources and new opportunities for cooperation and interaction with other countries," the minister added.

Such cooperation can be established in education, as demonstrated by the forum's success, he emphasized.
