🪖US sends more troops to LA than Iraq or Syria amid deportation protests

Around 4,800 National Guard and US Marine Corps troops are now in Los Angeles, more than the 2,500 in Iraq and 1,500 in Syria, ABC News reports.

As protests against arrests of illegal immigrants escalate, a curfew from 8 PM to 6 AM is in force, with violators facing arrest.
