Wagner Withdraws From Mali: ‘We Have Learned a Great Deal From These People and Will Be Able to Confront Terrorist Groups’
In an interview with Sputnik Africa, Malian geopolitologist Abdoulaye Diallo reflected positively on the presence of the Wagner group in Mali:
"The mission was a success, effective on both fronts: the elimination of terrorists and the training of Malian soldiers."
According to Diallo, Mali can now rely on the security and defense forces of the AES.
"When the three countries united, they conducted joint operations in the tri-border area. These operations neutralized thousands of terrorists," the expert explained. He noted that today, "we hardly hear of terrorist groups occupying the tri-border area anymore."
