Moscow Must Respond 'Extremely Firmly' to Kiev's terrorism, Says French Journalist
The recent operation targeting Russian airfields could have had "extremely serious consequences," Christelle Néant, who works in Donbass, told Sputnik Africa.
"Russia is obliged, due to the START treaty it signed, to keep these strategic aircraft visible to American satellites, just as American aircraft are visible to Russian satellites. But here, clearly, there is an attempt to disrupt this balance," she explained.
Necessary retaliation
According to her, Moscow "cannot let this pass" and could retaliate with missiles like the Oreshnik.
"It is time for Ukrainian politicians to start feeling at least some fear for the decisions they make. Otherwise, it will lead to escalation. Ukraine will not stop there."
