Nigerian Gov't Donates $1.3 Million to Residents of Flood-Hit Mokwa Town Where Over 200 Died
The government has also donated 20 trucks of grains to Mokwa residents, affected by the devastating flash flood, which started last Wednesday.
"While this disaster is devastating, it will not define you. We will rebuild. We will restore the vibrancy for which Mokwa is known," VP Kashim Shettima stated during his visit to the town in Niger State, located in western Nigeria.
