Russian President Vladimir Putin supports the view that it is necessary to continue contacts with the Ukrainian side, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.
"You know that at yesterday's meeting, our Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed the view that, despite this, it is necessary to continue contacts at the working level. This point of view was supported by the head of state," Peskov told reporters, answering a question about whether the Kremlin considers possible the termination of contacts with Ukraine in the event of repeated attacks on civilian targets from Kiev.
