The Russian delegation in Istanbul will be ready on Monday morning for the second round of talks with Ukraine, the official added.
The delegation of Russian negotiators is leaving for Istanbul, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday.
"I also wanted to inform you today that our delegation, the Russian delegation of negotiators, is leaving for Istanbul," Peskov told journalists.
The details of the Russian draft memorandum on the Ukrainian settlement will not be made public, Peskov said.
"Of course, nothing will be made public, it cannot be made public," the spokesman told reporters.
Moscow expects that the Russian and Ukrainian draft memoranda will be discussed during the second round of talks in Istanbul, Peskov added.

Putin-Zelensky-Trump Talks Possible in Event of Successful Talks of Delegations

"First, a result must be achieved in direct negotiations between the two countries. After that, if such a result is achieved, and when such a result is achieved, then, of course, we can talk about contacts at the highest level [between Putin, Trump and Zelensky]," he explained.

Putin has repeatedly said that he is fundamentally in favor of contacts at the highest level, the official added.

Moscow Glad That Concerns About NATO Expansion Understood in Washington

"We are glad that these explanations from the president [of Russia Vladimir Putin] are being understood, including in Washington. And, of course, this strikes an impression from the point of view of the mediation role that Washington continues," Peskov stated.
Russian President Vladimir Putin consistently conveys to his interlocutors, including those in the US, Russia's position on the non-expansion of NATO to the east, Peskov added.
The future of European security needs to be discussed with Europeans, but in Istanbul there will be negotiations specifically between Russia and Ukraine, the Kremlin spokesman went on to say.
"One way or another, of course, the future of European security needs to be discussed with the Europeans, there is no way around it. But in relation to Monday in Istanbul, we are talking specifically about direct Russian-Ukrainian negotiations," Peskov told reporters.
At the moment, everyone is focused on direct negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, Peskov said, speaking about the implementation of the Black Sea grain initiative.
"At the moment, everyone will focus on direct Russian-Ukrainian negotiations. A list of conditions is being developed, and a list of conditions for a temporary truce will be agreed upon. Thus, the safety of navigation in the Black Sea will one way or another become an integral part of likely future understandings," he added.
