Russia's Response to Ukraine's Terror Tactics: Experts on Precision Strikes Against Kiev 'Terrorist' Regime
Ukraine is a "hired gun" against Russia — African countries understand this, Zambian politician Dr. Richard Silumbe said.
"What we are seeing right now is Ukraine is targeting civilians, whilst the Russians are targeting military installations. This shows that the Kiev regime under President Zelensky, these people are criminals, these people are terrorists, these are sponsored terrorists who are attacking civilians contrary to military installations or military personnel," he argued. "This is why we are urging the world to put pressure on Kiev and on Zelensky to stop this war and to come back to the table of negotiations."
By targeting civilians the Ukrainian forces are committing "a crime against humanity," political science lecturer at Ebonyi State University Dr. James Agena told Sputnik Africa.
Ukraine has long and repeatedly relied on its provocations targeting Russian civilian infrastructure, Laurent Brayard told Sputnik Africa.
Russia complies "with all norms of humanitarian law," while Kiev "deliberately attacks the civilian population," Ruhollah Modabber, an Iranian political scientist and international relations expert, told Sputnik.
"Ukraine launched hundreds of drones daily since May, targeting Russian cities, civilians, even kindergartens. This is air terrorism. Russia’s response is inevitable," said Igor Korotchenko, military analyst, editor-in-chief of "National Defense" magazine.
It is "unfair and non-objective" to focus solely on Russia's response, portraying it as "a unilateral aggressor" when Russia only responds, head of Japan's Issuikai party Kimura Mitsuhide told Sputnik.
Where exactly did Russia respond to Ukraine's drone attacks?
Ukrainian terrorist drone attacks against Russia are an act of desperation, military analyst Alexei Leonkov said.
