The very reason why the conflict between Russia and Ukraine started is that Kiev has always wanted "to host the NATO forces and NATO weapons and to be a zone of war against Russia," a Zambian politician said.
Ukraine is a "hired gun" from Europe against Russia, and African countries clearly understand this fact, president of Zambia's Leadership Movement Dr. Richard Silumbe stated to Sputnik Africa.
"It is now evident that Zelensky is a sponsored terrorist by the European nations who are behind the back of Ukraine, supporting and infiltrating and ensuring that the war doesn't end, but it continues," the speaker noted.
Why is Ukraine a "hired gun," according to Silumbe?

It doesn't want to negotiate with Russia
"It is clear now that the Ukrainians are on the side of war, they do not want to negotiate with Russia. They do not want to end the war with Russia."
It uses Western weapons to attack Russia and derail peace talks.
"Whenever they [Kiev] find an opportunity, they'll get weapons, drones from European backers and throw them into Russia. Just to frustrate all the peaceful negotiations. And whenever they are hit hard, the way it happened recently, they will cry the loudest to elicit sympathy from the world."
Zelensky is not a leader, but just a puppet, used by Europe.
"Zelensky has got no legitimacy and is now a puppet who is used by the Europeans to perpetuate war."
African nations urge global pressure on Kiev and the West, Silumbe added.
"We [Africa] are urging the world to rain on Ukraine to condemn in the strongest terms what is happening, […] and what Zelensky has been up to, to ensure that he comes back to the negotiation table," the politician said.
