Ukraine is choosing targets in Russia that are not connected to the military sphere, Vladimir Putin said last Thursday, describing Kiev's methods as terrorist. Ukrainian forces are hunting for civilian vehicles, including ambulances, during drone raids and the actions of sabotage groups, the Russian president noted.
Russia's targeted strikes are a response to Kiev's 'terror against civilians,' French Journalist Laurent Brayard told Sputnik Africa.
Ukraine has long and repeatedly relied on its provocations targeting Russian civilian infrastructure, the speaker noted.
Currently in Donbass, the journalist shared a disturbing observation: civilian populations are being attacked, — even in areas "with no military presence" and "well behind the front lines."
"This is sadly part of Ukraine's declared strategy since 2014: terror against civilians," he concluded.
