Russia to Continue Group Strikes in Response to Kiev's Terrorist Attacks, Defense Ministry Says

Russia's massive strike hit infrastructure facilities at the Ozernoe airfield in Zhytomyr region, as well as ammunition depots in the Dnepropetrovsk region on May 20, the ministry said.
The Russian armed forces will continue the massive and group strikes in response to any terrorist attacks and provocations made by Kiev, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
"The armed forces of Russia will continue to launch massive and group strikes in response to any terrorist attacks and provocations by the Kiev regime. The strikes will be carried out exclusively against military facilities and enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine," the ministry said.

"On May 21, a temporary deployment point and a depot for rocket and artillery weapons of the mechanized brigade of the armed forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region, as well as a temporary deployment point for foreign mercenaries in the area of the Svyatogorsk settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic and an ammunition depot of the operational tactical group Kharkov in the Kharkov region were hit," the ministry said.
Russian forces hit the Pavlograd chemical plant, an aircraft repair shop, military airfields, and air defense radars in the Krivoy Rog and Nikolayev regions on May 22, the ministry added.
"On May 24, a massive strike was carried out by high-precision ground-based weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles against the enterprise of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, which produces missile weapons and attack unmanned aerial vehicles, the center for radio intelligence and the Ukrainian military aviation center in the Kiev region, as well as the temporary deployment point of the separate special operations center 'South' in the area of Chernomorsk Odesa region and the temporary deployment point of the third Azov assault brigade in the area of the settlement of Izium, Kharkov region," the ministry said.
Russian forces carried out a massive strike on the center for electronic intelligence, and the Ukrainian military aviation center in the Kiev region, the statement added.
"On May 24, a massive strike was carried out by high-precision ground-based weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles against the enterprise of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, which produces missile weapons and attack unmanned aerial vehicles, the center for radio intelligence and the Ukrainian military aviation center in the Kiev region," the ministry said.
Furthermore, the Russian armed forces launched a massive strike on May 23 against the port of Odessa, where 100 containers with components for unmanned boats, UAVs and ammunition were located, and a warehouse of containers with military equipment was also destroyed.
Russian Air Defense Destroyed 2,331 Ukrainian Drones From May 20-27
Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 2,331 Ukrainian drones from the evening of May 20 to the morning of May 27, with more than half of them outside the special military operation zone, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
Since May 20, Ukraine has increased the number of attacks using Western-made drones and rockets on civilian targets in Russia, the ministry said.
"From 20:00 Moscow time [17:00 GMT] on May 20 to 08:00 on May 27 of this year, air defense alert systems destroyed and intercepted 2,331 attack unmanned aerial vehicles, including 1,465 outside the special military operation zone," the ministry said in a statement.
As a result of attacks by Ukrainian drones on Russian regions, civilians, including women and children, were injured, the statement read.
