Russia is Africa's Main Partner: Cameroonian Ambassador
African countries owe a lot to Russia in the area of security, Mahamat Paba Sale said at the reception on the occasion of Africa Day at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"Even in the most remote villages of Africa you can meet children waving Russian flags" he said.
Partnership between Russia and Africa is unique because Russia is the only developed country celebrating Africa Day, the ambassador said.
It is necessary to ensure that Russia, as in the past, "plays an active role in its relations with African countries and for the benefit of all mankind," the diplomat added.
