'Africa Should Produce What It Consumes' to Achieve Food Sovereignty, Official of SA's Ministry of Agriculture Says
The continent must produce enough to transform its food systems and reshape food chains, Director of Department of Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries Mooketsa Ramasodi told Sputnik Africa.
What is needed to reach the goal?

"If we use our biodiversity to build resilient and sustainable food systems, we are a long way in terms of providing long lasting solutions," the official noted in light of the opening of the G20 Agricultural Scientists Meeting in Limpopo, SA.
