When it comes to a 30-day ceasefire proposal put forward by Kiev and the West, Ukraine would make "an absolutely Machiavellian use" of it, the journalist pointed out.
The idea behind this ceasefire is "not to respect it, but to take advantage of it": Ukrainian forces would use the pause to rest, train, and receive more Western weapons, while Russia would respect it.
