Tanzania recently completed construction of East Africa's longest bridge, spanning 3.2 km across Lake Victoria, with the official opening scheduled for June 19.

The 6th of October Bridge in Cairo, Egypt

Stretching 20.5 km, it holds the record for Africa's longest bridge. It is like arranging 205 football fields in a line!

The Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, Nigeria

At 11.8 km, it connects Lagos Island to the mainland, accommodating 117,000 vehicles daily.

The Mubarak Peace Bridge in Egypt

A 3.9-km engineering masterpiece by Japanese architects, it links Africa and Eurasia.

The Mozambique Island Bridge

This 3.8-km structure bridges the former Portuguese colonial capital with the mainland over the Indian Ocean.

The Dona Ana Bridge in Mozambique

Spanning 3.67 km across the Zambezi River, it has become an essential artery for the region.
