At the Brand Africa 100: Africa’s Best Brands event in Addis Ababa, Thebe Ikalafeng, founder and chairman of Brand Africa, shared a powerful reminder:

“Promotion is not necessarily just coming up with campaigns. A promotion, most importantly, is the higher level consciousness. Because when you're conscious, then you begin to act in the right way,” he told Sputnik Africa.

From fashion to music, Africa’s creative space has always led. Now, through a pan-African branding lens, the continent is defining its narrative and reclaiming its space:

“Why should we be wearing only Hermes and Louis Vuitton… when our stuff is so much better, so much more colorful?”
