Africa Must Strive for 'Sufficiently Humane' International Trade Rules: AU Legal Chair
Africa must ensure international trade rules promote sustainable development, as outlined in the AU's Agenda 2063, Kevin Ferdinand Ndjimba, Chairperson of the African Union's International Law Commission, told Sputnik Africa.
"Africans must consider negotiating as a group rather than individually, in order to be stronger," Ndjimba said.
He warned that if African countries act alone against Western powers, they are unlikely to receive favorable treatment.
