Africa Increasingly Attracting Interest from Global Investors

There are a lot of trends that will force major players to understand the importance of Africa. And you cannot cut your ties to the continent [Africa] because then you'll stay isolated. Other countries are not waiting. China is not waiting, India is not waiting [...]. But then, you know, we have to separate politics from economics and make sure that business grows in a mutually beneficial way," said Lena Sene, the President and CEO of Developing Capital for Africa (DCA).

In 2024, private capital inflows into Africa surged to $4 billion—more than double the amount recorded the previous year and the third-highest annual total in the past decade, according to the African Private Capital Association (AVCA).
