Beyond Inclusion: Integrating Women Into Mainstream Economy
There is exciting potential for women entrepreneurs from South Africa and Africa within the initiative of integrating women-led businesses into global value chains, Mamela Luthuli, a South African IT businesswoman, told Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the BRICS Women's Entrepreneurship Forum in Moscow.
Speaking about the initiative, which was one of the main agenda items at the forum, Luthuli identified execution as a key challenge, emphasizing the critical need for monitoring and evaluation to track progress.
"I think we are on the right track. We just need to keep on innovating and make sure that women are in the forefront of that," the entrepreneur said.
