Angola Sees Côte d'Ivoire as Agricultural Model
The country is an "inspiring example for all of Africa," declared Angolan Minister of Economic Coordination José De Lima Massano, while visiting Ivorian agro-industrial flagships.
Impressed by Côte d'Ivoire's complete value chain – from production to processing and marketing, Angolans want to draw inspiration from this success.
As a hydrocarbon producer, Angola possesses extensive, underutilized fertile land.
Its areas "with varied climates are ideal for growing corn, cassava, and strawberries," said Côte d'Ivoire's Ambassador to Angola, Jean-Marie Somet.
