Russian FM Lavrov & US Secretary of State Discuss Istanbul Talks Over Phone
Marco Rubio stressed Washington's readiness to continue to assist in the search for a settlement to the Ukrainian conflict, the Russian foreign ministry reported.
In addition, he welcomed the agreements on the exchange of prisoners of war and the parties' preparation of a vision of the conditions necessary for reaching a ceasefire.
Sergey Lavrov confirmed Russia's readiness to continue working with the United States on the Ukrainian settlement. The interlocutors also exchanged views on continuing contacts between Russia and the United States.
