POWER MEET: Mnangagwa & Lukashenko Seal Bold New Roadmap
Zimbabwe's President landed in Minsk to meet his "dear brother," Alexander Lukashenko.
What was on the table? Let’s break it down
Guard of honor, hugs, and handshakes — the two presidents met at the grand Independence Palace.
During a 2.5-hour meeting, they signed a bold roadmap for strategic cooperation and partnership, charting the course for 2026–2030.
Mnangagwa led a delegation of over 100 officials, signaling Zimbabwe’s serious commitment to deepening ties with Belarus.
Beyond politics, the delegation explored Belarus' historical and natural gems:
🟠Brest Hero Fortress
🟠Belovezhskaya Pushcha
During the talks, Lukashenko personally invited Mnangagwa (and the First Lady) to return anytime and experience more of Belarus' beauty. Mnangagwa responded by praising Lukashenko's "important role in strengthening friendship and cooperation" between the two nations.
This visit marks a major step in Belarus-Zimbabwe relations, with new agreements aiming to boost trade, agriculture, and tech cooperation.
