Fashion Show & Art Exhibition in South Africa Mark Victory Day
Organized by director Daria da Conceicao, the program included a fashion show featuring the "Salt" collection by students of Russia's Nikolo-Solbinsky Convent, as well as an exhibition of monumental paintings by artist Garry Zooh.
The organizers highlighted the historical ties between Russia and Africa, including the USSR's role in defeating fascism and supporting liberation movements.
Mosima Gabriel Sexwale, a close associate of Nelson Mandela, shared personal memories of Russian support during South Africa's struggles.
Zooh’s "Mandela Effect" collection, once thought lost in a fire, was also showcased. The event was supported by international association GATINGO, Nikolo-Solbinsky Convent, and Salem Humaid Saif Almzaini, the chairman of the Equity International General Trading.
