Preconditions for Further BRICS Expansion to Appear After Certain Time: Russian BRICS Sherpa
While many countries in the newly established BRICS partner category aspire to full membership, further expansion will require time for "mutual adjustment and working out the algorithms for interaction," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and BRICS sherpa Sergey Ryabkov said.
Ryabkov believes that preconditions for considering future membership will "mature" after a period, allowing for a more informed decision-making process.
