Russian people will never forget the heroism of Korean Fighters who participated in the defeat of Ukrainian forces in Russia's Kursk region, Vladimir Putin said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked the units of the North Korean army that participated in the defeat of the Ukrainian troops who invaded the Kursk region.

"Korean friends acted out of a sense of solidarity, justice and true comradeship. We highly appreciate this and are sincerely grateful personally to the Chairman of State Affairs, Comrade Kim Jong-un, and to the entire leadership and people of the DPRK," the Russian president said.

Korean soldiers fulfilled their duty with honor and valor, earning themselves everlasting glory, Putin emphasized.

"We pay tribute to the courage and selflessness of the Korean warriors who stood side by side with the Russian Armed Forces to defend our homeland as if it were their own," he pointed out.
