Gabon's Constitutional Court Certifies Nguema’s Landslide Victory in Presidential Elections

Brice Oligui Nguema secured 588,074 votes, accounting for 94.85% of the total ballots cast, Constitutional Court's president Dieudonne Aba'a Owono announced.

Nguema is set to be inaugurated on May 3, beginning his seven-year term.

The presidential election held on April 12 saw a voter turnout of 87.21%. The president-elect defeated seven other candidates in the election.
