"Let's see what happens. I think we're going to make a deal. And if we make a deal, that'll be wonderful. We won't have to worry about your question," the US president said.


On Wednesday, Trump criticized Zelensky's "inflammatory" remarks about Kiev rejecting Crimea as a legitimate part of Russia, warning they harm peace efforts and could prolong the conflict.

Earlier this week, Vice President JD Vance said the US will withdraw from negotiations unless Ukraine and Russia agree to peace, echoing Trump's stance that Washington will step aside if either side stalls talks.
