Moscow Sees Opportunities to Enhance Agricultural Cooperation With Morocco
Alexey Andreyev, the Russian trade representative in the Maghreb country, made the announcement to Sputnik Africa during the participation of Russian companies in the Siam-2025 agricultural exhibition in Meknes.
According to Andreyev, the expansion of the partnership will focus on:
🟠 Expanding the range of agricultural products and services;
🟠 Implementing new projects, including high-tech initiatives.
These initiatives aim to strengthen the development of Morocco and Africa as a whole, the official emphasized.
Among the results already achieved, he cited the registration of Russian hybrid seeds by the Moroccan regulator, which will allow Russian companies to participate in tenders.
In terms of high-tech cooperation, Andreyev noted that "the joint Russian-Moroccan pilot project on the digitalization of certain agricultural processes, which will improve production efficiency through artificial intelligence, is in its final stages."
