Russia Offers Africa Unique Opportunities Others Don't – African Media Representatives
It is not enough to simply be called "friends"; it is necessary to continue to develop ties between Africa and Russia, Kenya Broadcasting Corporation editor Eric Biegon noted.
Speaking at the "Russia-Africa: The Way of Friendship and Cooperation" forum in Addis Ababa, he mentioned the key areas of Russia-Africa cooperation, including:
🟠student exchange;
🟠nuclear energy;
🟠medicine.
At the event, journalists from South Africa, Cameroon, Ghana, and Ethiopia also shared projects promoting the Russian perspective.
They drew attention to persisting cultural and technical challenges, especially in the face of dominant Western platforms whose influence is gradually waning.
The forum is taking place on April 22-23. More than 50 journalists from Russia and African countries are taking part in it.
