Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's possible refusal of the ceasefire proposed by Russia will show all Ukrainians that he wants to continue the war, French Member of the European Parliament Thierry Mariani told RIA Novosti on Saturday. 10:58 20.04.2025 (Updated: 11:34 20.04.2025) MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Russian President Vladimir Putin declared an Easter truce that will be effective from 6:00 pm Moscow time (15:00 GMT) on Saturday until midnight from Sunday to Monday (21:00 GMT on Sunday).
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's possible refusal of the ceasefire proposed by Russia will show all Ukrainians that he wants to continue the war, French Member of the European Parliament Thierry Mariani told RIA Novosti on Saturday.
"If he [Zelenskyy] rejects this truce, it will be a political mistake that will show that in reality he is interested in the war continuing," the politician said.
