Slovakia will not participate in financial projects aimed at purchasing weapons for Ukraine, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said. Fico said earlier that Slovakia would not support the European Commission's proposal to allocate funds from the country's budget to support Ukraine. He stated that countries should make decisions on financial assistance to Ukraine independently and on the basis of bilateral agreements with Kiev.

Slovakia Will Not Participate in Projects to Provide Military Aid to Kiev
MOSCOW (Sputnik) - At the same time, the Slovak government is ready to implement humanitarian projects jointly with Ukraine.
Slovakia will not participate in financial projects aimed at purchasing weapons for Ukraine, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said.
"The Slovak government will not provide Ukraine with any gifts in the form of military aid, nor will it participate in financial mechanisms that should lead to the purchase of weapons for Ukraine," Fico said at a joint press conference with his Croatian counterpart in Zagreb on Wednesday.
Fico said earlier that Slovakia would not support the European Commission's proposal to allocate funds from the country's budget to support Ukraine. He stated that countries should make decisions on financial assistance to Ukraine independently and on the basis of bilateral agreements with Kiev.
