President Tshisekedi Welcomes Togolese Counterpart Gnassingbe, AU's New Mediator for Eastern DRC Conflict
The two leaders met in the Congolese capital Kinshasa on Wednesday to discuss the Luanda-Nairobi process, four days after Faure Gnassingbe assumed his role.
Prior to his arrival in Kinshasa, the new mediator made a stopover in Luanda, Angola.
"This brief visit to Luanda and Kinshasa is part of the resumption of the mediation process by the designated mediator," the DRC presidency said.
