MOSCOW, April 15 (Sputnik) - After a phone call on March 18, during which Trump proposed a 30-day ceasefire on attacks on energy infrastructure facilities, Putin supported the idea. Zelensky agreed to the proposal. But the very next day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Kiev regime had attacked an oil depot in Kuban with drones.

On March 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone conversation with US leader Donald Trump. The Kremlin reported then that Trump then had offered the parties to the conflict in Ukraine to mutually refrain from attacks on energy infrastructure facilities for 30 days, and Putin supported this initiative. But the very next day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Kiev regime had attacked an oil depot in Kuban with drones.
Since Zelenskyy's announcement that Kiev had allegedly complied with the agreement to stop attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not stopped attacks on Russian energy facilities for a day, the Russian Defense Ministry said in early April.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the Russian Armed Forces were refraining from striking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, despite Kiev’s violations.
