Over 1000 Delegates Expected at the 2nd BRICS Women's Entrepreneurship Forum in Moscow

The 2nd BRICS Women's Entrepreneurship Forum is set to welcome over 1,000 delegates from 50 countries, a participation rate that more than triples last year's numbers. Delegates will engage in discussions on the pivotal role of women entrepreneurs in global supply chains, as announced by the BRICS Women's Business Alliance.
The event will take place on May 15-16 at the RUSSIA National Centre in Moscow.
The main theme of the forum is the development of regional cooperation between the BRICS nations and countries in the Asia-Pacific, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and the CIS regions.
"One of our key missions is to integrate women-led businesses into global supply chains by enhancing their competitiveness and access to modern technologies," noted Anna Nesterova, President of the Russian branch of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance.
The agenda will also focus on:
Creating a barrier-free environment for women's entrepreneurship;
Exchanging experiences and technologies;
Developing special economic zones;
Supporting creative industries;
Projects in energy, sustainable development, and healthcare.

The first edition of the forum brought together around 300 delegates from 30 countries in the Russian capital in 2024.
The BRICS Women Business Alliance was established in accordance with a decision made by the leaders of the BRICS nations during the group's 12th summit in 2020.
