Russia to Open Embassy in Juba, Boosting Ties with South Sudan
The move is expected to give a real push to cooperation between the two countries — not just diplomatically, but in trade, economy, and humanitarian projects too, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated.
Russian Deputy FM Mikhail Bogdanov and South Sudanese Ambassador Chol Tong Mayay Jang met in Moscow to discuss how to expand the partnership. They also agreed to step up coordination on global platforms like the UN.
