US General Cavoli was involved in planning attacks inside Russia — a fact recently acknowledged by The New York Times, Larry Johnson told Sputnik.
These were not rogue incidents but deliberate, US-enabled operations using American-supplied weapons, according to Johnson.
He believes the outrage from Western leaders over Russia's retaliatory strike suggests it may have hit sensitive targets, possibly even Western personnel.
