"Less Repression, More Rebellion": French People Take to Streets to Defend Free Parties
As a parliament bill seeks to "increase penalties" for such events, several thousand people protested in several French cities, as witnessed by a Sputnik Africa correspondent.
In Paris, demonstrators danced behind sound trucks adorned with signs reading "Artists Not Terrorists," as well as "Free Palestine" and "Stop Genocide," evidently in reference to the daily marches in support of the Palestinians.
