Thousands Flee Violence in Eastern DRC in Recent Days, UN Reports

In Ituri province, attacks on villages in Djugu territory left homes burned, property looted, and infrastructure destroyed.
The humanitarian crisis is unfolding amid a renewed offensive by the M23 rebel group, which has captured territory across North and South Kivu.
